WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural wound healing processes, resulting in increased collagen and elastin production, which can improve the skin’s texture and firmness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some key points about microneedling:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Procedure: During the procedure, a microneedling pen with fine needles is used to puncture the skin. The depth of needle penetration can vary depending on the treatment goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benefits: Microneedling can help with a variety of skin issues, including fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation. It can also enhance the effectiveness of topical skincare products by allowing them to penetrate deeper into the skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recovery: The recovery time is relatively short. Patients might experience redness and slight swelling immediately after the treatment, similar to a mild sunburn. These side effects usually subside within a few days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sessions: Multiple sessions are often needed to achieve desired results. The number of sessions can vary based on the individual’s skin condition and the specific issues being addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
<\/strong>Keep the area clean and moist by applying the prescribed cream 2-3 times a day<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Always apply SPF30 if you are going outside in the sun. This is a winter treatment and is not recommended if the client will be spending time in the sun or sun tanning. Intense sunlight should be avoided for at least 2-3 months as this can lead to hyper pigmentation appearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Do not use heaving or harsh perfumed facial products in the first 2 weeks as this will irritate the skin. Only use the recommended creams and serums meant for the healing and regeneration stages<\/p>\n\n\n\n
