AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
DAY 1-3:
Keep clean, do not touch your eyebrows! The may feel tender and appear a little red.

DAY 2:

Apply a rice grain amount of Bepanthen cream on each brow with a cotton swab and clean hands, spread a very thin layer of ointment across the treated area morning and night. Your brows should not appear greasy , glossy or shiny, if so you have used too much, as this can suffocate the skin and delay healing. Never apply ointment on wet or damp brow. Continue ointment until your brows are no longer scabbing.

DAY 15:

Brows are safe from water. Client may return to normal skin care routines. Brow will appear very light, after scabs come off, every week up to 6 weeks colour will continue to surface and brows will get darker again

DAY 30:

Brows are healed and you look fabulous

FAQ
How long does the treatment take:
Ombré/Powder brows is done in two sessions. First session takes three hours which includes the consultation, mapping/measurements and procedure. Six weeks later a touch up session is done and this can take one and a half to two hours.

Why is is the touch up necessary:
Touch ups are done as every client heals differently varying in end results. Sometimes its necessary to fill in some areas.

Is it painful:
Topical anesthetics are used reducing the level of discomfort. Some have said to felt nothing while others have felt minor discomfort. The topical anesthetics are safe and may contain lidocaine, tetracaine and epinephrine. Slight swelling and redness is normal after procedure. I send my clients home with a tiny bit of Bepanthan to sooth the area.

Why is it so dark:
On completion of the procedure your brows will appear 50% darker than the desired effect, and it will take 4-10 days for it to lighten. The true colour will be visible only 1 month after procedure.

Why is it scabbing?:
Scabbing is the most annoying stage in this treatment. It cannot be stressed enough to not pick at the scabs at this stage as it will leave you with lost pigment unattractive patchwork. You need to let your skin recover and heal at its own pace. Taking care and see it through will pay off in the end.

How long does Ombre/ Powder brow last:
Ombré machine shading can last 12 months to 3 years. Taking good care of your brows will also count towards longevity. To maintain them, touch up can be done every 6-12 months.
